The New Haven Yacht Club is a sailing club using moorings and a launch boat to access boats. There are no slips. Small boat sailors can also dry dock their boats and use the hoist as tides permit. The schedule for the launch attendant is below:

Launch service for the 2025 sailing season will begin on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
During the period from May 18 through June 17 launch service will be available as follows:
Monday thru Friday from 3:30pm until ½ hour after sunset
Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 9:00am until ½ hour after sunset
During the period from June 17 thru August 28 launch service will be available as follows:
Monday thru Friday from 12:00pm until ½ hour after sunset
Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 9:00am until ½ hour after sunset
During the period from August 28 until “Boats Out” October 12th launch service will be available as follows:
Monday thru Friday from 3:30pm until ½ hour after sunset
Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 9:00am until ½ hour after sunset
